Dossier of the exhibition “Color and Hope” in Badalona

Olga Sinclair Panama-born artist began her career under the tutelage of her father, the teacher Alfredo Sinclair Ballestero. In 1976, she entered the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts of Madrid, where she studied fine arts, classical drawing at Estudios Arjona. She is one of the great exponents of contemporary art, pioneer of expressionist painting in Panama, great driver of art since childhood, which she realizes since her Olga Sinclair Foundation in Panama, her most precious dream that came true in 2010. Olga’s motto is the belief that a child exposed to art will never be violent; a belief that is intrinsically related to the Foundation’s core mission.

In January 2014, they won the Guinness World Record when 5,084 Panamanian and foreign children simultaneously painted a work of more than 2,000 square meters for the celebration of the 100 years of the Panama Canal.
